Funding Available For Insulation Measures

Home Energy Scotland Cashback Grant Scheme

Scottish homeowners can currently take advantage of a 75% cash back grant from the Scottish Government to cover various energy efficiency improvements to their home. There are also 0% interest loans available to cover the 25% that isn’t grant funded.

These loans/cashback funding are not means tested and available to all but do require you to be an owner occupier and have the energy efficiency measure recommended on your homes EPC. We can carry out an EPC assessment for you if you don’t have one or if its incorrect.

These grants and loans are only available while funding lasts so get in contact with our team today to book in your survey or for further information or visit the Home Energy Scotland website.

ECO Funding

There are also fully funded grants available for whole house retrofit projects for those on certain benefits. This is part of the government ECO (Energy Company Obligation) scheme that aims to assist in necessary home-improvements for low-income households.

It provides qualifying homeowners with the opportunity to improve home energy efficiency in order to reduce the cost of bills, as well as minimise the carbon footprints of houses.
